Question 7900 XTX - - - dual monitors with different outputs possibly leading to timeouts?
Question 7900 XTX - - - dual monitors with different outputs possibly leading to timeouts?
No video adapters detected. No apparent cause found. Experienced a crash early in the game due to timeout; GPU usage detection stopped and resumed after system reboot. VRAM consumption gradually increased to about 7.2 gb, reaching a point where it crashed (discord was open at the time). After restarting the game, detection began around 6 and rose steadily to approximately 6.7/8 before ending. Crash reports showed 141 initially, then 141 again, followed by 1b8, then 117 after rebooting. All processes appear normal; performed an Image Check in PE.
The VRAM usage remains normal while playing games. It clears itself correctly when I close or quit the game.
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 2x16GB 6000MHz CL30. Windows Memory Diagnostic ran and found everything clean.
Storage Drives:
1x SATA HDD Western Digital 2TB, half full
2x SATA SSD Samsung 850 EVO 500GB, one is the boot drive (half full), the other empty
1x M.2 NVMe Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB, 75GB available
It’s definitely an unusual configuration.
The system now consistently fails when connected to any monitor. I cannot progress more than thirty seconds into a PUBG lobby without crashing. It seems the GPU is malfunctioning.
I tested with Ultra presets: crash occurs, GPU load reaches 100, power consumption hits 390W, voltage stays at 1.14V, temperature at 54°C, VRAM at 64°C.
Next tried High presets: same results – crash, load 100, power draw 377W, voltage 1.14V, GPU temp 55°C, VRAM 74°C.
Medium presets also produced a crash with identical metrics.
I was also watching a YouTube video of the same card where the heatsink is completely straight and uniform. It looks different from mine, it has looked like this since I got it, I remember thinking it was an interesting design choice. Could this have led to the problems I'm currently experiencing?

If possible, please take a few photos showing your setup, GPU, etc.
Make sure the images are clear, well lit, and sharp.

Regarding the posted power and temperatures, I will rely on those GPU models that handle more power and temperature challenges.
