Question 7900 is experiencing a crash in sleep mode... Assistance needed!
I installed the new XFX RT 7900 XT and noticed my PC would shut down or crash during sleep. The previous GPU (Nvidia 4070 TI Super) handled this issue. I reinstalled drivers, checked for updates, used DDU to remove all GPU drivers, didn’t overclock, reset the BIOS to defaults, adjusted sleep settings, turned off fastboot and link state power. Removed two drivers that failed the driver verifier and uninstalled them. Placing the GPU in a different PCIe slot resolved the problem temporarily, but after returning to the original slot it reoccurred. If anyone has further advice, I’d really appreciate it.
