Hello everyone, I'm running an MSI GTX 980Ti 6G Gaming edition with a slight overclock. I'm planning to upgrade to an i7 6700K OC at 4.7GHz and install 16GB of 3000MHz RAM soon. Will I finally be able to play Fallout 4 smoothly at 60fps in city areas? This has been a challenge with my i5 3570K no matter what I try. I really want to revisit the game, enjoy the DLCs, and maybe get into some modding. If I can't run the game properly, why bother? Also, I haven't managed to play Enderal (The Skyrim mod) at steady 60fps even after lowering many settings—my GPU stays under 40% usage. Edited September 11, 2016 by Chaoss1848

Buddy, an i7-6700K at 6.7 GHz sounds like a fantasy unless you’re willing to overclock it and risk damaging the processor.

The file was damaged, but it seems to work now. Could you clarify your question?

It could significantly shorten the chip's lifespan. Perhaps he intended to convey 4.7.
