I’m curious about your recent purchase. You mentioned buying a new system but still have two older monitors—one VGA at 1280x1024 and another HDMI LG flat panel model, possibly around 1360x768—and you’re finding it hard to get the best performance in some games even at 1080p. I wondered if the monitors are the issue or if there’s something else affecting your setup.

Download a tool such as valley benchmark and execute a test. Share your average FPS, rating, and confirm it displays "r9 380" in the results.

The update mentions compatibility with Windows 8 and 7, but running on Windows 10 should not cause issues.

Check if the HDMI cable is connected to the motherboard's video port or the graphics card. (The motherboard's output is close to USB and Ethernet connectors, while the graphics card's output is separate and usually in one area.)

This gaming PC seems capable, with 8GB RAM and a 1TB hard drive. The site link provides more details if you want to check further.
