The platform wasn't built with performance in mind from the start.
It definitely became more difficult over time. Back in 2009, I could play it smoothly on any computer, and now that's not the situation anymore.
It works well on a laptop that doesn’t support Minecraft. That’s better than my current setup.
Experiment with rendering it on Max Graphics across various titles.
