Hello, I'm installing a new graphics card. It's an MSI 5060 with 8GB RAM, using PCIe 5.0. I have a 3.0 riser cable and the motherboard has PCIe 3.0 slots. Are there any issues here? I've heard that using PCIe 5.0 might reduce performance, but I'm fine with that as long as it's safe to do so?

The card's performance is limited to PCIe3.0 speeds; ensure your BIOS is up to date to avoid issues.

I'm not entirely sure, but could a riser cable create any problems between the two? Specifically around 5.0-3.0-3.0? I'm mainly worried about the extension.

Risers often lead to complications. Some users have discovered that adjusting the PCIe version within the BIOS may assist in fixing certain problems.
The GPU remains compatible with previous standards.
