Hi. PC:
13900K stock
2x16 GB DDR5 GSKILL 6800
Rtx 4090 Gigabyte Gaming
Asus Z790
SSD KINGSTON 2TB
Seasonic 1300W PX ATX 3.0 PCIE 5.
win 11
No issues reported. XMP only works in games, no crashes observed. Recently I noticed two systems with 19 appearing after boot to Windows 11. No crashes occurred, but an event log entry was recorded: Event 19 Whea – Corrected Machine Check – Translation Lookaside Buffer Error. My PC is stock, XMP enabled, and RAM tests showed no errors. Cinebench remains stable across all games.

Two incidents:
- Installed the latest NVIDIA drivers.
- Launched Remnant 2 (same UE5 engine as Lords OTF). During shader compilation, it threw OUT OF VIDEO MEMORY and BSOded on first launch, but worked afterward.
- Similar issue occurred during shader compiling on Lords of The Fallen; subsequent launches were fine.

Potential concerns:
- BSOD risk if new drivers are installed and the game is launched for the first time.
- Consider whether to replace the CPU or RAM due to these warnings.
- Many users with a 13900K reported similar problems. Should I upgrade to a 14900K now?

PS: My multiplier is stock, likely around 55x. No changes planned.

Rtx 4090 Gigabyte Gaming 13900k
OUT OF VIDEO MEMORY
the unholy trifecta... I've seen this before but I'm not sure why this combination of CPU and GPU is causing it. You wouldn't think a GPU with 24gb of VRAM could run out of VRAM
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/for...of-memory/
A 14900k won't solve the issue since it's just a faster 13900k.
Do you have the latest BIOS for your motherboard? I believe updating the BIOS might fix the problem.

Which Asus Z790 board are you considering? You might want to update the latest BIOS and check if that resolves the issue.
they offer numerous options -

if the bios update doesn't fix the issue, it's likely due to an XMP overclock. Try disabling XMP and observe whether the BSOD disappears. If it still occurs without XMP enabled, it may indicate a faulty CPU or mainboard, as most motherboards exceed Intel's recommended configurations. However, looking up 13900k models and TLB settings often highlights CPU overclocking as the cause.

turn off the mainboard overclock first
ASUS mentions it in the BIOS as "ASUS Multicore Enhancement"
disable that setting

Sure, I'll rewrite it while keeping the same length and structure.
