Hey there! So my friend's birthday is near and he's planning to buy a GTA V disc from this store. Right now I can't get anything on Steam because I've already spent all my money and won't earn another penny until I start working (which feels like about six years away). I need a disc, and honestly it looks like the cheaper option. But I'm a bit confused—will the disc I get be a Steam activation or something else? If it's the Rockstar version, what's the main difference between the Steam copy and the official release? Also, how big is the download size again? TIA - LG
You can purchase GTAV on Steam, but you must enable it through the Rockstar Social Club. Even if you buy directly from Rockstar, you’ll still have to activate it via RSC.
Really? Would I have similar perks as in Rockstar games, like special achievements?
All activities handled through Rockstar Games Social Club. In-game purchases might be supported by Steam, though I'm not entirely certain.
No matter the source, the file exceeds 60GB and you’ll still find achievements available.
