The performance of my I7 10750H reaches 1.302 in hwmonitor, isn't that typical? Particularly after a -70mV undervolt from the BIOS? My BIOS occasionally loses track of the undervolt setting. The laptop is from about July 2020.

My bios sometimes misses setting an undervolt. Is this a bad CMOS battery issue?
Likely yes. If your laptop doesn’t have a CMOS battery and has an internal one, you’ll need to replace it.
The laptop is from around 2022.
Can you provide the make, model, and SKU for your laptop?
Also, what BIOS version are you running?

by battery power is functioning without any issues. The laptop is around 2020, sorry for the confusion. The latest BIOS 314 will provide the SKU number shortly. Thank you for your help.

A little question: is Plundervolt still relevant? Shouldn’t ASUS have completely removed the chance if it was a serious issue? I managed to undervolt between -50 and -70mV before things got worse. Now my BIOS seems to forget what I set earlier. :S Also, can you check if you’ve ever used Plundervolt?

But I’m unable to access the BIOS at all—my PC boots up at 144Hz, only when I launch Windows CRUE.exe and set it to 120Hz with a 10Hz setting. I wanted to ensure stability first, so I’m currently in Windows. I can’t even reach the Fail Safe startup option if I reboot through BIOS.

Yes. Shouldn't Asus have completely removed the issue if it was a major problem? Asus doesn't handle every issue alone—it's an Intel concern too. I managed to undervolt between -50 and -70mV before any problems occurred. You can lower the voltage up to the 9th Gen Intel mobile processors without trouble (unless the BIOS blocks it). The 10th Gen is where it stopped working. Maybe somewhere. But I can't access the BIOS at all because the PC boots at 144Hz. Only when I enter Windows CRUEX takes over and sets it to 120Hz with 10Hz, which I couldn't do otherwise, just to ensure stability first. I can't even reach the fail-safe startup option, if I choose to reboot through BIOS. You already have a thread on this here; https://forums. So I won't answer here to avoid (anyone else reading and yourself) confusing information. If you're going to ask the same question in multiple threads, we should stick to one thread.

It was a straightforward inquiry regarding the VID's voltage without undervolting on a 10750H CPU.
