Hi, do you have any suggestions for safely overclocking this Q9550? It's on a GA-G4MT-S2 board with 4GB DDR3 RAM and a Deep Cool 4 heat pipe tower cooler. Any tips would be appreciated.

The fps improvement typically isn't very large with socket 775 CPUs, and this motherboard might not be suitable for overclocking. Here I found some information: https://forums.tweaktown.com/overcl...ad...-help.html There is something on overclock.net, but I'm still having trouble accessing their servers.

I'm unable to reach the CPU speed above 2885MHz. When I set it to 2.9, it crashes.
