Q: When was the software crash?
Q: When was the software crash?
The BOINC program crashed recently and I'm asking why this happened. I looked at the Event Viewer in both System and Application logs for critical errors or warnings from the last day and didn't find anything about that. Maybe the software isn't fully compatible with Windows 10, so it's not recording its crashes properly? Thank you for helping me out.
Which option did you pick? For the setup, did you run the app from an elevated command like Right click the installer then Run as Administrator? Also, what version of Windows 10 are you using? And could you tell me your computer's processor and BIOS version?
I have a GIGABYTE GA-B150M-DS3H card in my hands, and it's the latest version 1.0. I've been testing that specific model because it seems reliable for my needs right now.
An app could crash without any data at all. Those apps are especially bad if they barely touch anything and just crunch numbers. I don't know the details of BOINC, but maybe there is a way to get continuous updates with timestamps (like Folding@Home does).
Just make sure you look at the Windows Reliability History. To find it, type "Reliability History" in the search box that shows up on the screen, pick a result, then choose View reliability history when your options appear. It might be easier to read if you see the timeline instead of just a list of events.
