I've been working through this problem for several hours trying to fix the issue. When I turn on fTPM in the BIOS, the system fails to start, stopping at code 33. Resetting the BIOS turns off fTPM, but Windows 11 doesn't install correctly afterward. I've experimented with enabling and disabling various settings—like CSM and secure boot—but only when fTPM is off does Windows 11 acknowledge it. I managed to install once before, but the system froze during a setup restart (I left the PC then). Initially, I attempted to disable the TPM check using Rufus, which helped with the partial install. After disabling fTPM and trying to boot, Windows 11 still reports an error that can't be resolved by recovery tools or the flash drive. SPECS: Windows 11 Pro, ROG Strix X399-E Gaming Board (1602 BIOS), latest firmware, Ryzen Threadripper 1950X, 2x16GB DDR4 RAM, RTX 2060, NVIDIA Tesla P4, WD Blue SSD, Thermaltake PSU. I noticed the error seemed to resolve itself after a short period on Q-Code 33 while researching further. Before giving up, I restarted the system many times—once it actually booted into Windows instead of hanging. Now it still displays code 33, but it does POST and start. This seems like a workaround, not a permanent fix. I'm keeping this as a reference for anyone who might encounter the same situation.
