I just got the MSI Z390 Gaming Edge AC and began setting everything up. I noticed this motherboard has two CPU power connectors: one with an 8-pin and another with a 4-pin. Should I connect both?

Off the board you go. You’ll destroy the VRM before you require the 4-pin connector.

Unless you're running LN2 overclocking, the 4-pin isn't necessary.
