On the USB or DVD drive, it won't work. Once you flash the image, just move them over. They won't change the installation process or affect Windows setup. Using any files is fine, but avoid replacing existing ones on the drive.

Repeatedly skip this. The Windows installation file only interacts with its own files and disregards any additions you place in its adjacent folder next to the installation.
