Purchasing Windows 10
Purchasing Windows 10
I’ve heard about them and watched Pauls Hardware video about the website. But when I checked the comments, everyone was complaining about scams and broken keys.
MS conducts basic checks on keys bought from questionable Hong Kong online shops. Your device may be turned off at any moment. The method they use to sell keys indicates you’re not getting a valid license. Without a proper license, you lack the legal right to use the software—this is piracy, and it often involves spending time on the phone with customer service explaining your complaints. MS only offers special deals on launch day. Their resellers earn minimal profit, so anything under $100 is likely unreliable, stolen, or reused. Buy with caution.
I dislike Windows 10 because of the activation process—it's frustrating. Plus, it doesn’t seem like a good deal at $100. Still, I understand their reasoning.
