Purchasing video games

Unfortunately, I may not be able to assemble my PC before the Steam Summer Sale. My friend owns a PC. Could I use my account to purchase games on his machine and then download them a week later onto my newly built system?

They must be linked to your account to download on your new PC. Alternatively, you can purchase the games via Steam for your phone, provided you're logged in.

As long as the items are bought from your account, everything should work fine once your rig is finished.
