Purchasing processor from another nation than where you reside i7 7700k
Hello! I’m not sure if this fits the discussion, but I’m trying. I plan to purchase an i7 7700K for my second PC, which will run Windows 7. My concern is whether buying a CPU from another country—like the USA—will affect performance, overclocking, power consumption, or anything else. Are there any differences in results? Is it safe to do this? Currently, no one in Norway sells it, but if someone does, they might buy it soon. Thanks for your help!
Shipping and import duties will be significant. I checked online and found 2 7700k with systemboard and RAM, a few 7700 and multiple 6700k on finn.no.
Hey, seems like it might be a copy-paste error from Wish.com, possibly with a fake part or component. It should still work as intended.
If you purchase the genuine product, there should be no issues. Consider shipping costs, import duties, and potential return complications—likely, there won’t be many reasons to return it. Buying a processor from overseas might not be practical.
Hey everyone, just checking if anyone has any good places to get this product legally. Or maybe a used option that isn’t a fake, right? Appreciate the help!
Based on my observations, purchasing a CPU or computer components abroad usually yields little return. In Norway, tech products are relatively affordable when considering VAT (MVA) and shipping costs, especially when ordering online. Many Ebay items do arrive in Norway but take time. I’ve seen listings for similar models with significant savings—sometimes even saving over 400 kroner by selling parts instead of buying everything new.
