Hello
I currently have a setup like this:
PC
Motherboard
ASUS PRIME B360-PLUS LGA1151
Processor
Intel i5-9600K
Graphics
MSI GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X 8G
Memory
Crucial Ballistix Sport 4Gb 2666MHz DDR4 x4
NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 drive
Storage
SSD Samsung 980 EVO M.2 500GB, M.2
SSD Samsung 860 EVO M.2 250GB, M.2
Hard Drive
HDD 1TB Toshiba
Power Supply
CHIEFTEC CTG-550c (550W)
Case
GameMax G503BK PRADRO
Cooling
SilentiumPC Spartan 3 PRO HE1024
Fans
COOLER PC Arctic F12 x2, GameMax GaleForce GMX-GF12 Red-led x3

I plan to relocate soon and consider selling my PC to buy a laptop. I’m unsure which laptops match the power level of my current system.
Could you suggest some mobile video cards and processors I should look into?
Also, are there any trustworthy laptops in this category that suit my needs?
My main use will be browsing the internet, watching movies, and playing games like RDR2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Witcher 3.
Thanks!

GTX1080 performs similarly to a mobile 3050Ti or 4050. Begin with that benchmark. I’d likely aim for a mid-range laptop like a 3060 or 4060. A display with 1080p and 144hz or higher would be ideal. Expect a price near $1000 or in Euros. Your system should have about 16GB of RAM, which is easy to find. A 750GB SSD is common, though you’ll still stay under 2TB overall. Most models don’t come with a 2TB drive, but many include at least one extra M.2 slot. It’s interesting how the power supply lasted so long with a GTX1080 and 9600kHz. The wattage is low, and Chieftech isn’t usually reliable.

When comparing various laptops, the Gigabyte G5 KF stood out to me.
Details:
15.6" 144 Hz display
Intel i5-12500H at 2.50GHz
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics
8 GB DDR4 RAM
512 GB Gen4 SSD storage
What are your thoughts on these specifications?

I would verify if an upgrade to 16GB memory is possible and explore available storage options, otherwise the component choices appear satisfactory.

Hello, I won't create a new topic. I'll ask about it here.
I have two used laptops available at the moment.
Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 15ACH6
Details:
Display: 15.6" IPS 120Hz (1920x1080) Anti-glare!
Processor: Ryzen 7 5800H (8 cores / 16 threads) (4.4GHz)
Video card: RTX 3050 4GB GDDR6
RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz
Storage: 512GB NVMe SSD
Battery: 5h (9% wear)

Lenovo Legion 5 15ARH05
Details:
Display: 15.6' IPS 144Hz (1920x1080) 300nit
Processor: Ryzen 7 4800H (8 cores / 16 threads) (4.2GHz)
Video card: NVIDIA GTX 1650Ti 4GB (GDDR6)
RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz Samsung
Storage: 512GB Micron SSD NVMe SSD
Battery: 6-7h - (80mWh) (10% wear)

The IdeaPad Gaming 3 costs $750, while the Legion 5 is around $720.
They look quite similar, so I’d appreciate an outside perspective on which one is better.

Lenovo is likely to provide superior performance.
I'm not entirely confident about needing 4GB GPUs, as several games already present challenges with that amount.
