I recently upgraded to Ryzen and for budget reasons bought two RAM sticks a month apart. I chose Hyper X Fury 16GB at 3200MHz CL16 per stick, from the same store, expecting them to match but they differ in timing. They’re both CL16, yet their speeds don’t align. After more than a week everything works fine, though the timings default to 16-20-20. Is this typical? Are there simple ways to adjust them to 16-18-18 without stressing the slower stick too much? Quick note: I’m not too concerned about 3 fps in certain games; I mainly work on architectural 3D renders and creative animations, so my rig is more of a workstation. If the change between 16-18-18 and 16-20-20 is negligible, please let me know—I just want to understand! Thanks.

It's quite minor. I'm confident that the higher timing setting is automatically adjusted to a lower one. In fact, I've experienced this before with two identical 2 stick kits from the same brand and model—different timings worked perfectly without any problems.

It's good to hear that. I understand the concern about DDR3 and memory sensitivity with Ryzen. Thank you for your clarification!
