Hey there, I'm new to laptops and mostly use my desktop. I own a lot of games and plan to travel for work soon, so I bought the Gigabyte G15 YC today. It should arrive tomorrow. I'm wondering if I can just open the game launchers and download the titles I've purchased—most are on Steam, but I also have Call of Duty and Red Dead 2 there. I searched online, but most results mention remote play, which isn't what I expect. Any advice would be super helpful!

Yes, you're able to do that. I possess two computers and have identical games on both.

Based on my use of Steam, Epic, and Origin, you just sign in on the new device, pick the games you wish to play, allow them to download and install, and then enjoy them.

Steam works well for re-downloading games. I've done this multiple times on 3 to 4 copies.

You can also play from nearby devices on the same network. I do that occasionally.
