Are you requiring a replacement motherboard or can you find an alternative solution? The new power supply you mentioned is a Corsair RMX 850 watt.

Hello there! Could you share the details about your motherboard? If it's a prebuilt unit, please specify its make and model as well.

It comes with a ready-made Omen Desktop installation. I should check the specifications myself.

As long as your 24-pin connector is functioning properly, we can confirm it follows the ATX standard. Although many OEM machines use their own connectors, they typically adhere to the ATX standard for CPU power connections.
The 4-pin motherboard should fit an 8-pin EPS connector if there’s sufficient space, and it seems possible in either direction. The matching pins will align with the additional four that are connected elsewhere. Avoid forcing it, as it will only settle into the right positions. Numerous 8-pin connectors are also built with a 4+4 layout to allow separation, often featuring small rails or a slight lip for better alignment.

Yes, regular board. 8-pin should simply connect with half the pins left out.

Use the four pins on one side or the other. The eight pin connectors aren't all separate; some are two four-pin connectors joined, which can be separated.
