Purchased a computer from a yard sale and need help getting it running
I'll pick up a battery. It seems DVI cables aren't available in stores, so I'll have to order them instead.
I managed to get fresh 2032 batteries, a DVI cable, a VGA cable, and a DVI to DisplayPort adapter. I tested each cable and port with various monitors, different hard drives (with and without the graphics card), and none of them worked. Everything spins up and moves but doesn’t POST—uncertain if I’m doing something wrong or if there’s a next step. Possible options include replacing the motherboard or upgrading the GPU to see if that resolves the issue. Since it has integrated graphics, it should still appear regardless.
