I intended to replace the 2GB RAM with a 4GB model in dual-channel mode, but I forgot about the speed settings. The person mentioned Windows supports 2GB at 1333MHz and 4GB at 1600MHz. Should I stick with the same setup or switch to the higher-speed configuration? Which option performs better? Also, if you're unsure, consider replacing it just in case the original RAM is faulty. It would be best if all the RAMs were the same. The 1600 MHz model will work with the 1333 MHz version, but it will operate at 1333 MHz regardless.

If possible, swap it out; if not, as mentioned, the 1600 will operate at 1333 to align with the slower stick.

I can swap the 4GB 1600MHz RAM for another 1600MHz one. Additionally, let me know if you need advice on setting up your laptop to handle RAM with varying frequencies.
