You already own the complete version of Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth. The alternative site offers a paid purchase for $20, but many players feel it lacks sufficient content compared to the free version. Whether it’s worth it depends on your preferences—some enjoy the extra money for additional features or updates, while others prefer sticking with the free experience.

Personally, it was okay for a single playthrough during a free weekend, but I didn’t feel motivated to continue afterward. The game feels missing compared to what Civilization V offers with its expansions. There could be some powerful mods that improve the experience, though I’m unsure. I’m also uncertain if any new DLC or expansions are planned at the moment.

I wouldn't recommend it yet. Hold off until all DLCs are available and consider purchasing the full set together. Right now, it offers fewer features compared to Civ 5.
