I strongly disagree. (Enable annotations) It’s disappointing to see how the game turned out after its initial promise in E3 2012. The issues became apparent during development, revealing that Ubisoft prioritized marketing over quality. A total mess of a product.

There are some issues, but overall it works well once you play through it. The visuals aren’t amazing, but TheWorse mod improves them. I enjoyed it and even got the latest single-player expansion. It was entertaining too.

It seems Ubisoft might be attempting to shift the "neckbeard" image... /joke Someone offer them an excavator instead... They’d dig much quicker with one!

I've got a beard, so neckbeards aren't for me.

Other companies have tried similar things before, but it still feels like a big surprise. Mountain dew has handled this in every Halo title, and it looks like they’re teaming up with CoD AW again. The main reason folks don’t like it seems to be the involvement of Ubisoft, which is pretty odd.

Almost certainly, the majority of Ubisoft's viewers wouldn’t need shaving cream.

A partnership between two firms for a joint promotion? That seems odd, right?

They’re withholding information to push for extra purchases unrelated to gaming, charging an extra $60 for full access. That’s really unfair.

They aren’t pushing you to purchase anything unless it adds value in-game. If it doesn’t help you, there’s no need to buy it. Even if it does, you’re still free to decide. It’s frustrating that they made separate content that might not be available without buying it, but you don’t have to pay for it.
