He showed me a fresh game mode on PUBG featuring 10-player teams. I’m curious if it’s improved for older systems or if it still struggles on my RX 460 at 1080p.

Your GTX 780 caps at 720p with the lowest possible frame rate, which is still poor on budget hardware. By lowering your settings significantly, you should see improvement.

On my 770 with 2GB at 1080p and a mix of low and medium settings, I see an average of 62 with a low of 29. It's not great but not terrible either. Right now, I'm saving extra cash for something closer to 1080p since the 2GB model is starting to struggle.
