I can play War Thunder at full capacity on large maps with consistent 45 FPS. That might not be a fair comparison, but watching videos where it's maxed out shows it really performs well—so impressive it seems almost impossible to run.

Expect smooth performance with minimal lag while playing an open-world game.

Agreed, that comparison doesn't hold up.

Original launch: November 1, 2012 It worked on DX9 or DX10. PUBG supports DX11.2; your GPU is built for DX9/10 and newer versions allow running games similar to those in DX9. The 3D graphics display its peak performance [link]. It matches a NVIDIA GTX 645. That’s a prebuilt card! An NVIDIA 750 is twice as powerful—just add about 25 USD and you’ll get the same performance.

I haven't tried the game, I'm being honest, and I'm not focused on graphics. But from what I see, it runs poorly even with 100 players and a large map. It definitely needs some improvements, and I'm starting to prefer Arma 3 more.

You prioritized a premium peripheral setup over upgrading your graphics card because the hardware you had was outdated and insufficient for modern gaming needs. Investing in a midrange system was seen as a more practical step to improve performance without breaking the bank.

At that time I was running a 7950. The issue arose because of problems with the 7950—extensive artifacts, freezes, crashes, and overall instability. Before these problems, I still used a Dell membrane keyboard from the C2D era. With enough funds and a solid system, I chose to upgrade my peripherals.
