I'm experiencing frame rate drops in PUBG, and both my CPU and GPU are consistently running below 60% utilization. I'm unable to diagnose the issue and request assistance.

System specifications:
Motherboard: Z87X-UD4H
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro (64-bit)
Memory: 16 GB
CPU: i7-4790 3.60GHz with Corsair water cooler
GPU: GeForce GTX 1080 TI SeaHawk 11GB
Network Card: Intel® Ethernet Connection I217-V

Uh-huh...

1. Have you enabled XMP in the BIOS so your memory runs at its advertised speed?

2. The primary system drive is on a small and slow HDD, currently stable but performance will degrade with added data. Moving the operating system to one of the SSDs would mitigate this issue.

3. The 860 EVO 250GB shows 882GB of free space, which is unusually high. The other 860 drive appears normal. Have you updated the firmware using Samsung Magician? [https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/mi.../magician/](https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/mi.../magician/) This tool also allows you to check drive health and perform malware scans...

Is this a new development or has it been ongoing? Considering you have both CPU and GPU cooled by liquid:

-What are the temperatures of your CPU and GPU during gameplay?
-What are the temperatures of your CPU and GPU when idle?
-Have you made any recent changes?

I previously used a 750ti with 4gb of memory, and then for three months I had a 1080ti. I now experience more frames per second, even with increased settings; however, the game still exhibits stuttering due to frame rate drops. My idle temperature is approximately 35° Celsius, while under stress testing, it reaches a maximum of 55° Celsius.

If these are the GPU temperatures, what are the CPU temperatures? Please click the green human to continue - UserBenchmark Go here and link the results.

1) This change will be minimal, but have you enabled XMP in the BIOS to ensure your memory operates at its advertised speed?
2) The primary storage drive is located on a compact and relatively slow hard disk. Although currently stable, performance will degrade significantly after adding an additional 20-30 gigabytes. If the operating system drive experiences a slowdown, it will negatively impact overall system performance. It is advisable to relocate the operating system to one of the solid-state drives.
3) There’s an anomaly with the 860 EVO 250GB. It indicates 882 gigabytes of free space, which is excessive. The other 860 drive appears functional. Have you updated the firmware using Samsung Magician? Link: https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/mi.../magician/. You can also assess drive health through this tool: https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/adwcleaner.

XMP is enabled. I will move the OS afterward and update the SSD.
