I own an R6 1600 OCD with a 3.7ghz clock, a GTX 1070 with 8GB RAM, and 8GB of memory. Not only does it struggle to maintain steady 60fps in PUGB at low-med settings, but it keeps crashing whenever I jump. I’ve got the newest drivers, yet still can’t get PUGB to run smoothly on a 1070. Why is it so hard for the GPU to handle it?

placed ram in various slots — not perfect, but it helped. On my ASUS Strix X370-F, the one with RAM in slots 1 and 3 kept crashing during PUBG, so I moved it to slots 2 and 4.

It's a good idea to use at least 16GB of RAM when playing PUBG.
