Hi,
I just installed a PC for the first time. The PSU is producing a static noise and I'm concerned.
The components are: I7-13700K, RTX 4070Ti, Z790 Gaming X AX, Corsair RM850e ATX 3.0 80+ Gold.
Thank you!!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Are you certain the noise originates from the PSU's side rather than a fan or another part of the system? Try using a sheet of A4 paper, rolling it into a tube, and holding one end to your ear while the other checks for the sound's source. You may need to move to a different wall outlet in your home.

Hi!! Thank you for your reply.
The noise is clearly coming from the PSU.
I've tried moving to different outlets as you advised, but it didn't help.
I also discovered the fan isn't spinning, which might mean the PSU isn't getting enough load.
I'll reach out to the seller to ask if they can provide a replacement.
Ty again!
