I'm not sure if my PSU is faulty—it could be a Coolmax 1000WATTER model or my HDD might be failing. I have a link to a video showing the issue. It's a brand new build with updated drivers; the only changes were to my PSU and HDD.
MSI Z170 Sli
i5 6600K
Avexir Core Series DDR4 2x4 at 2400MHz
Xfx Rx480rs 8GB
Help needed, thank you.

to test the hdd, you can use maker software with short and long tests for psu. Try it on the sensor page and get the readings.

Is this the Coolmax product? It has a link to newegg, and about 40% of people give it just one egg.

there are three pci-e slots available; consider using the gpu in the other two to check for signal issues, then try the onboard unit as a final attempt. This may help determine if the problem lies with the gpu or the board.

It's a coolmax i've used for a while and I understand it's not ideal. Thinking it's similar to Minecraft with shaders works just fine, but it doesn't really need heavy loading or significant GPU power.

there are applications that can identify if an hdd is failing, such as hd tune pro. additionally, you could test with a different power supply unit and hdd.
