PSU Help?
He had a PSU for his friend that only has CPU and PCI-E connectors, no SATA, Molex or 24-pin ports. He mentioned it came with a prebuilt Predator Gaming PC, but I’m confused about how to connect this setup. Since there are no extra ports or cables, can I still install it on my own computer? Please help me.
It seems like this PSU isn't very helpful. What I believe is happening is that it's a 12V-only unit, shifting other voltage levels to regulators in a different module or directly on the motherboard.
Capture the label if available. As @Average Nerd mentioned, this power supply likely provides standard 12 volts to the motherboard. If your PC only requires a CPU and graphics card power connector, it should work fine. Using an M.2 SSD seems appropriate. Consider switching the USB 5v output to SATA power if needed via the adapter at https://a.co/d/88LJSg7.
