Hi there,
I have a few quick thoughts on this.
I’m using an XFX Pro 550w Bronze rated PSU and planning to overclock an i5 6600k.
I’m curious—will this be enough, or should I replace it with a new PSU?
My system setup looks like this:
8gb DDR4 (2300 MHz)
Saphire Nitro RX480 OC+ (not for overclocking)
120gb PNY SSD
500gb WD HDD
ASRock Z170 Gaming K4 Motherboard
Coolermaster Evo 212
Thanks!

It will be more than enough. A better quality PSU with reduced ripple, such as a G2 or RMx, would be preferable. However, in your opinion, I would stick with the XFX.

Sweet, it means I might be able to afford some extra RAM instead. Thanks a lot
Could I be spending too much on the ASRock Z170 Gaming K4 Motherboard? Is there a more affordable option that lets me overclock?

There are more affordable Z170 models available. However, the quality of the motherboard will influence the maximum overclocking potential, so I wouldn't reduce the price significantly. This review achieved a 6700K to 4.6Ghz, which is quite solid for the cost:

Scan UK offers a package with the 6600k and K4 mobo for £306, which includes tax and postage. That suggests the mobo is likely about £86, making it a potentially good deal!
The standalone mobo is priced around £110.

In terms of expenses, Scan UK consistently loses to Ebuyer UK. Clearly, specific packages and offers will differ, but Ebuyer is usually more affordable.
