I own a CM eXtreme Power 600 PSU with the AD1212US-A71GL model. It has been quite noisy lately, particularly after replacing my CPU cooler with a quieter model. I'm considering swapping it out for a be Quiet Pure Wings 2 fan. A friend with 30 years of experience in electronics is open to doing this, as the new fan may require soldering. Is this a suitable decision?
