I've noticed my PC frequently shuts down when under heavy load, especially during gaming sessions. Running Prime95 and FurMark separately didn't cause any problems, but doing both together immediately leads to the computer powering off. The Event Viewer doesn't show anything unusual, and no minidump was recorded. All drivers and Windows are up to date. Standard diagnostics like SFC, DISM, and CHKDSK didn't find any issues. My system was built in late 2020 with these specs: Ryzen 5 5600X, RTX 3070, 16GB DDR4 RAM at 3600 MHz, Gigabyte Aorus B550i Pro AX motherboard (latest BIOS), ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II cooler, and a Corsair SF600 PSU. The case is NR200P with an extension cable. If you're considering a new power supply, would it make sense to go for a higher wattage like 1000W or opt for a more affordable 750W? The price gap between the Corsair SF750 and SF1000 in my area is about $60 (around $200 vs $260). PSU recommendations are appreciated. I don’t plan an upgrade right now, but might consider one in a year or two if I’m not playing the most demanding titles.
