This PSU is compatible with the MOBO? Check the product page link provided. The MOBO details are also included for reference. I’m uncertain about the 18+10 connector setup and how it will function with this specific board. I need to finalize my choice soon. Both items are currently discounted, and my system is set around 1800 watts, so finding a good deal would be great.
It seems there might be some confusion about the specifications. The 18+10 likely refers to a different component or configuration, while the 24-pin MOBO connection isn't directly tied to the PSu's pin count. Clarifying these details would help explain the process better.
A few connectors aren't working as expected. My EVGA 1300w Supernova uses a setup with 24 pins, but some cables are missing or overlap in the connector.
You'd check the connections by testing each pin individually or using a multimeter to confirm proper contact.
It simply connects. They’re using several wires to a single connector pin. There’s only one 24-pin standard, so it fits without issues. You can’t reverse it because the connectors are secured. It should work like a regular motherboard connection.
