Hello. Four months back I purchased a new part to assemble a fresh PC in my existing case, while the old one was used for a family machine, and everything functioned perfectly. A month prior to that, during a night outage, when I powered on the PC, I received a single long beep followed by three brief ones, with no display visible. I confirmed it was running by logging into my Windows account and playing a music file; the PC was active but without video output. After ruling out GPU issues, I swapped in the original PSU from my previous setup, and everything operated correctly. I assumed the new PSU was faulty, so I tested powering the PC with it outside the case—it worked. Once reinserted, the issue reappeared. I removed the new PSU cables, reattached them to the case, and connected the cable; it functioned properly. For the past month, I used the new PSU without turning it off as often, but the problem resurfaced. Now I’m relying on the old PSU for power, uncertain if it’s working, and hoping for a stable family PC. PC specs: CPU – Ryzen 5 5600 MB, GPU – XFX Radeon 6700 XT, RAM – 2x Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600MHz, SSD – Samsung 980 Pro 2TB, HDD – two WD drives, PSU – Thermaltake Toughpower GX2 600W, OS – Windows 10. Current setup: Gigabyte Superb 720.
