Hello.
For the FSP 1000W 80 Gold ATX 3.0 PSU, it's better to use the standard ATX 3.0 cable from the PSU to connect the video card, rather than the special GPU cable.

Are you asking about using the adapter despite having the correct cable? No, stick to the one included with your power supply—it's designed for that. The adapter works with older PSUs that don't support ATX 3.0.
