PSU and motherboard are functioning, yet the computer fails to power on.
I purchased a Red Dragon 850-watt RGB power supply unit.
I connected all the cords and verified everything was correctly plugged in.
The motherboard activated and the GPU began to flicker. The RGB lighting on the PSU didn’t turn on, nor did the fan.
I suspected a faulty PSU, so I unplugged everything and ran a test.
After reconnecting, the PSU RGB lit up and the fan started working.
Once I reinserted all components into the motherboard and GPU, the PSU RGB still didn’t activate. The motherboard lit up but the GPU continued to flicker.
I’m not sure if the issue lies with the motherboard or any other part. Should I replace the PSU or is there another reason?
