Hello, the 350 W Antec 350X PSU seems sufficient for your GT 730, Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650, P35-DS3 board (rev 2.1), DVD readers (ASUS 1814-BL and ASUS E616A3), Seagate Barracuda ST3250510AS HDD 250 GB, Noctua NH-U9B SE2 cooler, and your RAM setup of PQI CORP and Kingston 4x1 GB DDR2 mixed frequencies.

Take into account the complete range of the build. Make sure to update your post with detailed system hardware specifications and operating system information. By the way: Go through the article and use the different wattage calculators. The power supply's wattage is important, but its quality is equally crucial. Both aspects are significant.

that isn't really challenging, so i wouldn't choose that psu unless you've already purchased it. where are you located and what's your budget?

I intend to upgrade to the latest CPU and cooler. I’m located in a small city in Croatia, and the only thing I can do is order a new PSU (this one is from 2007). My budget is about 50€, and I already have this PSU before. Now I just want to get a new SSD, CPU, and cooler.

This power supply is quite aged, but it still has potential to fail at any moment. If your overall spending limit is 50 euros, it could be wiser to invest in a refurbished PC. When you have the budget for 50 euros, opting for a used PSU might be preferable. If you can afford 50 euros for a new one, this LC Power model offers better reliability than your current unit. Since the price is under 50, you can allocate the remaining funds to shipping costs.

For Croatia, purchasing older or used units isn't particularly sensible. Most prices are significantly higher than for new equipment.

Thank you
I’ll keep this old PC, and I’m considering purchasing a new PSU as you recommended. I need a 500 W unit to ensure everything works smoothly. Do you have any recommendations for a 500 W PSU that I can upgrade into soon? Also, my budget will likely shift to around a solid 500 W, so could you suggest a suitable 500 W PSU? Thanks!

Also, do you believe the Zalman ZM500-TXII serves as a suitable 500 W power supply?

No, that's really bad. Consider options such as the MSI MAG A550BN, ADATA XPG Pylon or Thermaltake Smart BM2.

I'm considering purchasing the MSI MAG A550BN at 50 euros. Is this power supply suitable for my needs? I just need a PSU to ensure everything runs smoothly and doesn't fail.
