Hello! I recently relocated and now have 5G internet with three devices connected via a Huawei hub. The connection is stable overall, especially over cable, and speeds are good even during PS4 speed tests (over 50MB/sec). However, playing online FIFA20 is extremely difficult due to high latency. I've tried setting up an open DMZ, using special apps, and virtual servers, but nothing seems to work. Customer support doesn't seem to understand the issue. Any suggestions on how to resolve this? Also, my old router worked fine before—do you think it might help? Thanks!

You shouldn't rely on steady performance from a cellular-based internet, even with 5G. While it offers more bandwidth, heavy usage by others can cause delays. What rates does your ISP charge? Is there a wired connection between the PS4 and the Hauwei CPE? Have you checked speeds using various Ethernet cables? If you run a speed test on a device connected to the CPE, what results do you see? Also, perform a trace route to Google and Cloudflare and share your findings.

I often notice pings slowing down to over 200ms on Three, even without using the service much (they're fine on 4G). I was hoping 5G would fix this issue, but I'm not surprised it might not.
