I installed the new CPU and immediately noticed the fans spinning hard in Windows 10, but the screen went black. Switching to the old one resolved the issue smoothly. The new processor shows a lag of 775 and has an LGA775 border, which is a Dell OptiPlex 775.

The processor is a 2-core 4-thread Q8200 LGA 775, while the CPU in the CP is a 2-core 2-thread E4500 LGA 775
