Hello. Welcome! I'm new here and need some guidance. I'm configuring a PC with Ubuntu Server LTS 18.04 as a caching web server using Squid (excluding squid3). My main question is whether I can set up Steam and Windows update caches with Squid, and if so, how to do it.

I would install SQUID or a proxy directly on your router (such as PFSENSE or IPFIRE) rather than using a separate computer.
