Provides 9700k adaptive voltage support
I have my 9700k operating at 5.1ghz steady on a static voltage using a z390 Aorus Ultra, and it runs at about 20w when idle. I switched back to the default settings and saw idle consumption drop to around 10w. I’m curious about achieving stable 5.1ghz on adaptive voltage. Running the CPU at R23 will consume roughly 180w, maintaining ~1.28v at the VRVOUT sensor. My adaptive profile sets LLC to med, AC LLC to performance; I noticed the 1 ohm value there is considered good. I didn’t adjust the offset, and it works fine. However, under load it draws around 200w with VRVOUT at ~1.32v. When I attempt a negative offset, the system won’t boot into Windows, which seems inconsistent with its stable behavior at 1.28v under load. I’m unsure how to adjust this without losing stability or performance. Ideally, I’d like the idle draw to stay near 180w and VRVOUT to hold at 1.28v while lowering voltage during idle.
