The year subscription for Norton360 is nearly complete, and I'm checking for alternatives that match or exceed its quality. If none suit me better, I'll stick with the current option.

Try Avast free antivirus for protection, Norton can affect your PC speed, and malware remains a concern.

Use AVG or Avast Free, avoid paying, ensure you run Malwarebytes, and pair it with your chosen antivirus. Norton will remove the threat right away.

It seems you're using the free versions of Bitdefender and Windows Defender.

I’ve used Malwarebytes and Common Sense before, but now I’m adding Malwarebytes plus Bitdefender Free for extra protection. It’s a solid setup.

Reject the claims about Norton affecting performance—it’s not true. I’ve used a paid Norton subscription on my i3-laptop and all three PCs without any slowdown. I’m switching to Bitdefender Internet Security in July because it’s affordable through my school and pairs well with Malwarebytes. The best choice is either Bitdefender or a combination of Bitdefender and Malwarebytes at a lower price.

My preferred setup includes AVG plus Malwarebytes. Avast also performs well. All three are free, reputable, and kept up-to-date with emerging threats. Upgrading to the newest release of "Safe Browsing Habits 2015" is a good idea if you haven't done so already.

Checking Windows Defender and avoiding the full warning about changes is enough now.
