Protection against viruses
The best virus software is typically advanced detection tools that prevent infections, while the worst are malicious programs designed to harm systems. People value reliability and user safety above all.
I don't rely on anti-virus software. I only use a firewall and perform routine malware checks. Among the ones I've tried, Norton is the most frustrating—constantly interrupting me every ten minutes and forcing me to quit my game to warn about background activity. It's also quite costly.

Norton is undoubtedly the least effective popular antivirus software.
They all come from the same sources; they pull data from identical databases. But when it comes to functionality, Norton stands out with unique tools not found in other products. I prefer Microsoft Security Essentials—it’s free and uses minimal resources.
