Hey, I’m checking for some free antivirus options. My computer feels a bit sluggish lately, so I’m hoping it’s related. Thanks!

I know there's a bunch of hate going towards anti-virus's from the PC building community (and rightfully so), but one I have experince with (for business use) is AVG. There is another one that was dead simple and straight to the point (PCCleaner or something; it had no bloat and thats why I liked it), but I forgot. If I remember I'll be sure to tell you.

I've tried both Avast and AVG. I've kept Avast on my home PC for over three years and never missed a virus that slipped through. At work, we used AVG free for some time—it's fine, though it doesn't catch everything. Avast picks up things AVG misses, especially viruses in emails I receive through Thunderbird.
