Your top recommended antivirus and anti-malware combo would focus on strong protection without breaking the budget—something around $1000 isn’t necessary. I’d suggest pairing a reputable antivirus with a reliable firewall solution. Let me know if you'd like some options! Thanks, Daniel.

MalwareBytes, Windows Defender and a bit of online skepticism are more than sufficient.

I am using Kaspersky Premium without any issues. It has never had viruses or problems for years. I don’t recall the last time my system faced any trouble.

Comodo firewall, Malwarebytes Spybot, S&D Windows defender, and online scanner for Windows are available. Alternatively, you can opt for the complete Comodo antivirus suite plus the online scanner.

You rely on Microsoft Security Essentials and UBlock Origin, both free tools. Both include adblocking and malware protection features.

Windows Defender offers solid protection out of the box, while Bitdefender provides advanced features and stronger threat detection. Which is better depends on your specific needs and system requirements.

Windows Defender performs reasonably well in detection when compared to BD, yet it remains significantly lighter than BD based on my observations. Pairing it with HitmanPro enhances its effectiveness, making it a solid antivirus option.

You're currently using Microsoft Security Essentials and UBlock Origin. Both are free tools, though Microsoft Security Essentials isn't available on Windows 10. UBlock Origin also includes a malware block list feature.
