I seek recommendations for current games. My preferred titles include Sniper 4, The Crew Wildlands, Just Cause 3. Previously, I enjoyed Ashes of the Singularity and other strategy games, liked Civilization V but disliked Civilization VI. For a retro feel, I appreciate Grim Dawn similar to Diablo. I also enjoy Assetto Corsa and some Need for Speed titles, and find the redesigned Battlefront II acceptable. I have not played Battlefield outside of console and consider it acceptable. I do not play online modes or competitive games like Fortnite or Apex. I dislike stealth-focused games such as Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six, and Hitman due to excessive sneaking and complex considerations. While appreciating the visuals of The Witcher 3, its expansive nature was overwhelming. I found Zombie Army Trilogy challenging and enjoyed Crysis 3. I have never played Halo or similar titles. Despite downloading demos, I am seeking recommendations for games available on Steam or Origin, excluding freeware (which I consider spyware).

I enjoy the Warhammer series, particularly Three Kingdoms which I find excellent. DUSK is a commendable retro FPS, and Slay the Spire is a well-regarded deck-building game—all of these titles are available on Steam.

I enjoyed the earlier Warcraft games through World of Warcraft. I have not been a fan since. The Total War titles you mentioned appear visually appealing. I will investigate whether any of those games have demos available.

Warhammer boasts three primary titles; I have completed Warhammer II, leading me to begin a third, having not played the initial installment. Borderlands 3 releases in September – Borderlands remains a favorite, and it may be worth exploring.

Downloaded Borderlands 2 recently; somewhat retro but enjoyable and a good way to pass the time, particularly considering its price.

The graphics are distinct. Initially, I didn’t appreciate them, but I subsequently adapted and now enjoy them. I also appreciate the considerable size of the game. Be aware of Tiny Tina; she is eccentric.

The AMD game package remains accessible, and I recently obtained The Division 2 and World War Z at no cost. Both titles appear engaging thus far.
