Promotion for Steam during the winter holiday season in 2014
Hey everyone, the Steam Winter Holiday Sale is coming up soon. I'm thinking about what games to grab, your spending limits, and whether you're helping a friend pick something special.
1. I’m aiming for CS:GO, Arma 3, Shadow of Mordor, and possibly another early access title or Just Cause 2. Honestly, if I overspend, I might buy games I won’t even play.
2. With a $100 budget, I need to be smart. I’ll stretch it to $200 or more before going over.
3. Maybe I already bought some for friends during the summer sale, so I’m not planning this now. Let’s make it a nice gesture instead!
Remember to be considerate and share the holiday spirit with others who enjoy gaming. Let’s keep the conversation friendly and respectful.
Don’t get discouraged if there isn’t a “late” discount. I managed to secure all the games I wanted at 75% off—awesome savings!
I won’t do it—I still have some games to save. Those can wait. Besides, I need some cash for GTA 5 on my PC. I’m sure something will come up, because Lord Gaben really needs it to swim.
I think I’ll probably just grab GTA V, but it won’t be available until after the winter sale. So I’ll wait about a week to check if the PC version works well since these ports aren’t great right now. If everything’s fine, I might get it right away; otherwise I’ll hold off until it’s officially released and confirmed it’s not another bad port.
